Initial meeting at the Trapani salt ponds<\/strong> at 10:00 AM. The landscape here is truly unique: windmills emerging from the water, surrounded by snow-white mounds of salt. You will have the exclusive opportunity to go for a swim<\/strong> in one of the salt ponds, and listen to the explanations of the salinaro<\/em> (salt pond worker) about how simple table salt is produced starting from seawater. One of these wines is the Marsala<\/em>, a very sweet fortified wine, particularly suitable for the end of every good meal. This wine takes its name from the nearby territories where it is produced. In the afternoon, we will visit Segesta\u2019s impressive Greek temple<\/strong>.<\/p>
